Currently Development Manager for Whitby Lakes Retirement Village & previously for Vision Senior Living (now Metlife).


Recent years have been the involvement with Retirement Village development and prior to that was the development of subdivisions for housing and the managing of large volumes of house building for Fletcher Homes.


Knowledge of detailed design & pricing requirements for all phases of developing Retirement Villages, planning, specifying, value engineering design from housing subdivisions, the design & construction of housing and apartment buildings.


  • Engaging & creating design briefs with consultants.
  • Reviewing & value engineering the design.
  • Engage with local bodies and local authorities in relation to the development of land, including infrastructure design, Resource Consent or Building Consent.
  • Involved with the appointment of contractors for a variety of projects from civil works, the main building project and landscaping and managing the project through to completion.
